A rabbit? Yes, just a rabbit…

I don’t normally do this – there are enough problems in this world to think about – but I became aware of something this week online that saddened me, touched my heart and I just couldn’t ignore.

You will find the story here:

A rabbit, you say? Yes, a rabbit.

Read the story. An animal that was abused, neglected for years and left with irreparable damage to her legs and back. Rescued, now she is trying to enjoy a new and better second act in her life.

She survived her ordeal and is being cared for by a girl who isn’t well herself.

Inside that animal is a fighting spirit who deserves to have some love and enjoyment for once and time with a human who cares.

An animal with fighting spirit.... Her front legs twisted from years of confinement yet she tries to play.
