Why ‘tantriclens’?
Well, I would prefer to use my real name but given the nature of my blog and how stupid and unforgiving society can be towards a sexually liberated female, it’s just not a good idea. And tumblr, about.me etc need something…
The lens part should be obvious. As for the ‘tantric’ bit, no one can agree what tantra is and its actually unintelligent and limiting to try. I don’t mind this definition though:
Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar describes a tantric individual and a tantric cult:
A person who, irrespective of caste, creed or religion, aspires for spiritual expansion or does something concrete, is a Tantric. Tantra in itself is neither a religion nor an “ism”. Tantra is a fundamental spiritual science. So wherever there is any spiritual practice it should be taken for granted that it stands on the Tantric cult.”
I’m actually pagan but I wont go into that!
