Let’s not forget many others, such as “Don’t Look Now”, “Coming Home”, ” Out of Sight”…..

The reason so many recent films which are about sex or feature explicit sex are boring or “unsexy” is because they either lack the characterisation and story of mainstream films like the ones mentioned above, or else they wrap the protagonists in some kind of negative pathology: they must be dysfunctional in the way they express and experience their sexuality.

This is a phenomenon I’m particularly interested in changing.
