“Online dating is like shopping”, says David Seric.

“You go into one shop to try on a shirt, then go into another one and another one. It is a bit more mechanical than the traditional way of going to a bar and talking to a girl.

It’s a good little ego boost,” he says. He goes on about four dates a week with women he meets in “real life” and online – he also uses the location-based matchmaking app Tinder.

“It does get a bit busy, you have to squeeze them in where you can,” he says. “But I am getting bored. It probably sounds a bit arrogant, but I am getting a bit dated out.”
