Two photographers are focusing their lenses on taboo territories in a bid to challenge shame and embarrassment over body image.

“It sounds like a university anatomy course: 101 Vagina. The word that cannot be uttered has been studied by photographer Philip Werner in a body-image project to break down the taboo and now he’s adjusting his lens for 101 Breasts and 101 Penis.
Mr Werner snaps 101 body parts and attaches stories or poems from anonymous participants who want to reclaim their private parts from the shutters slammed down by society. “The vast majority of people are tired of the taboo or their own feelings of shame,” he said.”
