“Love is blind, they say – sex is impervious to reason and mocks the power of all philosophers.
But, in fact, a person’s sexual choice is the result and sum of their fundamental convictions. Tell me what a person finds sexually attractive and I will tell you their entire philosophy of life.”
Ayn Rand

“Our erotic knowledge empowers us, becomes a lens through which we scrutinize all aspects of our existence, forcing us to evaluate those aspects honestly in terms of their relative meaning within our lives. And this is a grave responsibility, projected from within each of us, not to settle for the convenient, the shoddy, the conventionally expected, nor the merely safe.”
Audre Lorde “The Uses of the Erotic”

“Sex pleasure in woman is a kind of magic spell; it demands complete abandon; if words or movements oppose the magic of caresses, the spell is broken.”
Simone de Beauvoir

About This Blog

The world is alive with possibilities. Everywhere you see new paradigms and the combinations are exciting — but only when one is willing to see them and accept them as possible.

With new technologies it is possible to express oneself on many topics and reach a large worldwide audience. And interact with more people in a week than previous generations could in a lifetime. You can learn a lot and fast. Or just waste time.

Sex is one of the most central aspects by which we define ourselves. And there is a lot of sex online. Strangely,  there is still is lack of truly informed and open-minded discussion. It is either too academic, too personal or reduced to the level of reality-TV intelligence. And I am being generous there is using the word intelligence.

On or offline, we are constantly confronted with what an acceptable relationship should be or how sexuality should be expressed. Yet we see in the rise of selfies, sex selfies and the staggering amount of amateur sex videos on Youporn, Redtube, Pornhub etc that there is a very curious, experimental and creative crowd out there.

The great thing about new paradigms is that if something doesn’t work for you, there are so many other ways of exploring just what it is that makes you feel complete. And the opportunity to find people just like you.

In my blog I look at the expression of sexuality throughout history as well as discussing my own experiences in discovering how I define myself sexually and what I feel works best when a sexual journey is expressed thru photography and video. I embrace sexy selfies and videos and their ability to document the vast tapestry of human sexuality in all its diversity.

But, remember, creativity is sometimes better ignited with exposure to information outside of the subject at hand.

My blog isn’t necessarily prescriptive — it’s about looking at all the options and enjoying a more truthful life today.

And having a lot of fun along the way.
